Carrot Ginger Soup


  • One sweet onion
  • One yam or sweet potato
  • Large bag of carrots
  • Piece of Ginger (depending on how strong you want it)
  • One can of coconut milk
  • Turmeric (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika powder and parsley for decoration

Cut up all ingredients.
You can either boil it, or put it in a slow-cooker. Add salt and/or pepper to taste.
Once cooked add the can of coconut milk, blend in a good blender like the Vitamix, which makes it nice and creamy.

Sprinkle some paprika and parsley on it, to make it look nice!
Ready to serve!
